Brigidin Crowther Multimedia Consultant

Brigidin is an educator and a filmmaker with a background in the creative industries and corporate communications. She holds a Masters in International Cinema from the University of Sheffield as well as a first degree in English and History.

 

A qualified teacher of English, Drama and Media, she set up a TV studio in her first school, and established a modular multimedia performing arts GCSE course before joining Bedfordshire LEA Inspection and Advisory service as an Advisory Teacher.

 

She worked as a presenter and producer for the BBC and then spent seven years in Corporate Communications internationally, working on multimedia campaigns and digital showcase products including web and DVD.

She has filmed all over the world from Harvard University to the Red Cross in Geneva, directing unusual IT campaign films (Human Genome Project), special features and creative profiles of artists, entrepreneurs and scientists, as well as web movies and showcase films for a wide range of global blue chip companies in the IT, Telecoms and Biotech sectors.

 

Prior to joining Sero, Brigidin designed and filmed a ground-breaking multimedia project in Sheffield called Developing Creativity, offering pathways for young people into the creative industries. She has also produced several films about Sheffield and Regeneration including ‘Electroworks’, ’Cityscape’ and ‘Take 12’ focusing on creative artists and digital businesses. She is particularly interested in using film and multimedia innovatively, for strategic emphasis, in advocacy and as part of qualitative consultation to highlight real stories that bring about change and offer a voice to different constituencies.
