Over
the past 25 years, David has consulted on a wide
range of projects for
government agencies, regional development agencies,
local authorities, international consultancies, global
IT players, and leading education, training and knowledge
service providers, both in the UK and internationally.
His specialisms include: strategy and programme
formulation; industry research; education and skills
policy analysis, with particular emphasis on sector
skills. He has extensive experience of working
with a wide range of programmes and organisations
across the spectrum of 14-19, further and higher
education, workforce development and community
learning.
He has also participated actively in European
collaborative R&D, in technical standardisation,
in industry partnership programmes and in regional
regeneration.
Former Chair of Digital South Yorkshire, David sits on the board of CIDA, Learning Light and Sheffield Technology Parks. He is a member of the British Council Knowledge & Information Advisory Committee.
