Liz Wallis Director and Principal Consultant

Liz specialises in communications, marketing strategy and business management, with a background in the IT industry and education.

 

She holds a Masters in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge, a PGCE from Homerton College Cambridge, and a MBA from Sheffield Hallam University specialising in Marketing. She has over 20 years experience of working in the computing industry, latterly at director level, with extensive knowledge of the post-16 learning and skills sector.

 

A Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, her skills include strategic consultancy, market analysis, marketing campaigns, writing and research. She has developed branding, marketing and PR strategies for a range of large scale education, training and skills programmes and has consulted on programmes in the areas of both lifelong learning and enterprise support, working with national, regional and local partners. She also provides marketing consultancy for a number of companies in the IT and digital sectors. Recent and current assignments include:

  • Brokering industry partnerships

  • Developing and implementing dissemination strategies for several public sector programmes

  • Supporting a new education product launch

  • Fast focus company brand audit & repositioning exercise

  • Provision of outsourced Marketing Management and campaign services

Liz is experienced in managing the full range of digital communications, including web, and film, and in working with a broad range of creative agencies. She is currently contracted as Marketing Manager for Digital South Yorkshire, the network and support organisation for the Creative and Digital Industries sector in South Yorkshire.
