Rotherham Gets Connected!

“There’s no doubt that Rotherham is at the leading edge when it comes to using digital technology to change the ways we work, learn and use council services.” Giles Pepler, Chair of the Rotherham Lifelong Learning Partnership ICT Group Businesses, students and residents across Rotherham should soon be able to use the Internet much more extensively to boost their opportunities for learning and working, bringing new jobs to the area as well.

The Rotherham Lifelong Learning Partnership recently hosted a seminar for business and education leaders at CENT at Magna – Rotherham’s Centre of Excellence for New Technologies. The event showcased exciting new plans and current ground-breaking projects that are already opening up access to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and having an impact on the everyday lives of people in business, education and the community.
