The objectives of the Renaissance South Yorkshire (RSY) South Yorkshire CDI study are to assess the current CDI position and the prospects for growth, leading to identification and benchmarking of niche (or sub-sector) strengths and thereby identifying areas of potential growth. Whilst the main RSY focus will be on Barnsley Doncaster & Rotherham, Sheffield will be important in its role as the sub-regional driver. |

Sero is the Prime Contractor with David Kay acting as Project Manager. We are also specialising in the digital and IT sectors of research.

The project is organised in seven work packages, including reporting and project management. Our method includes desk research, steering group meetings, local surveys and key respondent interviews.
This approach therefore combines quantitative with qualitative data that will provide a data to address the four objectives of the study:
- Assess current CDI position
- Assess prospects for growth
- Identify & benchmark niche strengths
- Identify areas of potential growth
