ict active is based on the premise that technology-based infrastructure and services in managed and corporate workspaces are key to enabling business transformation and new modes of working.

ict active assesses and accredits ICT facilities and services based on the British Standards Institute (BSI) specification for provision of ICT in workspaces, PAS 700. Sero worked with BSI and industry bodies to develop the PAS 700 national guidelines and designed the ict active assessment scheme which we are now rolling out across Yorkshire and Humber after successfully pilot-surveying 50 buildings.

We are currently developing a commercial model for national roll out including recruiting and training a body of assessors, internal quality assurance and external validation of accreditations, marketing strategy and campaign management.

ict active has already made a major impact in Yorkshire, where it was launched in 2007. Now, with PAS700, ict active is ready to be rolled out across the country, providing property managers and owners with an exclusive and welcome marketing tool in these tough economic times.
